Email Insights, Microsoft’s latest Garage project, scratches an itch we’ve all had: you know you have an email in Outlook somewhere, but you can’t seem to find it. Email Insights aims to fix that.
This is a Windows app installed from the Windows Store that searches Outlook 2016 or Gmail. It uses some sophisticated machine learning to provide:
- Fast autocomplete
- Spellcheck
- Fuzzy name matching
- Relevance and time-ordered results
You can also do tabbed searches and use the search box for quick commands to make things go faster. If you’re having trouble organizing your email, this might be just the thing you’ve been looking for. It’s free from the Windows Store and available now.
