With so many ways to communicate these days, it can be difficult to stay on top of it all. Keep colleagues and outside contacts in the loop by sending Teams messages via Outlook.

Share a Channel Post in Teams to Outlook

  1. Click the ellipsis next to the channel post you want to send
  2. Select Share to Outlook from the options
Navigate to Share to Outlook
  1. Fill in the blank fields, change the email subject, and add other content to the email.
  2. When you are ready, click send.
Preview the Teams message before sending it to Outlook

Note: This process is the same process for sending a message from a chat conversation. In this case, the recipient will only see the message, not the entire thread.
