PEI Renews Highly Coveted Microsoft Gold Partner Status

PEI demonstrates best-in-class capability and market leadership through demonstrated technology success and customer commitment.

BOULDER, CO, November 03, 2016 – Performance Enhancements Incorporated (), a family-owned IT consulting firm based out of Boulder, today announced it has renewed Microsoft’s coveted Gold Partner competency for the eleventh year in a row.  Earlier this year, PEI was recognized as one of Microsoft’s top 200 U.S. partners out of 100,000 by Redmond Channel Partner.  This demonstrates a “best-in-class” ability and commitment to meet Microsoft’s customers’ evolving business and technology needs in today’s dynamic business environment and distinguishes PEI by placing it in the top 1 percent of Microsoft’s partner ecosystem.

To earn a Microsoft Gold competency, partners must successfully complete exams to prove their level of technology expertise which result in Microsoft Certified Professionals who are then designated uniquely to one Microsoft competency ensuring a certain level of staffing capacity. Partners must also: submit customer references that demonstrate multiple successful projects along with yearly customer satisfaction studies; meet target revenue commitments; and pass demanding technology and sales assessments.

Over the last 28 years, PEI has delivered over seven thousand successful IT projects across a wide range of industry segments including financial services, healthcare, education, manufacturing, and professional services. PEI specializes in the longevity of client relationships where each customer, both large and small, is vital to PEI’s success. They consider all of their clients to be “lifelong customers” whose satisfaction is PEI’s mission and guarantee.

“This Microsoft Gold Partner Level showcases PEI’s expertise in and commitment to today’s changing technology market and demonstrates our deep knowledge of Microsoft and its products,” said Tim Krueger, President of PEI.  “We plan to accelerate our customers’ success by serving as top Microsoft advisors for their business demands and continuing to be at the forefront of technology trends.”

“By achieving a gold competency, partners have demonstrated the highest, most consistent capability and commitment to the latest Microsoft technology,” said Phil Sorgen, Corporate Vice President, Worldwide Partner Group at Microsoft Corp. “These partners have a deep expertise that puts them in the top 1 percent of our partner ecosystem, and their proficiency will help customers drive innovative solutions on the latest Microsoft technology.”

In achieving the Microsoft Gold Partner Level PEI was required to attain the Gold Communications competency.  This demonstrates PEI’s best-in-class capability specifically within the Microsoft Unified Communications solution area and its specialization in bringing the benefits of Skype for Business and Unified Communications to organizations. The Microsoft Partner Network helps partners strengthen their capabilities to showcase leadership in the marketplace on the latest technology and better serve their customers.

Since their move to Colorado, PEI has grown into a multimillion dollar company serving customers across the United States. By partnering with industry-leading companies such as Microsoft, Cisco, and Polycom, PEI enables their clients to realize the competitive value of technology solutions that drive real business results.  Along with Microsoft’s Gold Communications competency, PEI has multiple Silver competencies making them one of the top Microsoft partners in the United States.
